Dr. Amna Ali Hassan Shaghouli, MD FRCPC, has been the
Education and Attainment Founder of the Glycemia Clinic, Endocrine
Clinic and Consultant in Endocrinology and Bone Metabolism at the Adan
Teaching Hospital in Kuwait since 2013. Prior to this, she was a
Consultant in Endocrinology at the Dasman Diabetes Institute, Kuwait
(2009-2017), Head of the Endocrine Unit Maternity Hospital, Kuwait
(2011-2012) and Endocrine Consultant at the Ameri Teaching Hospital,
Kuwait (2008-2011).
Outside Kuwait, following her studies at Leeds Medical School, she
was registered by the General Medical Council in the UK, in 1999. She
then completed a Fellowship of Endocrinology and Bone Metabolism and
was certified by the Canadian Board on Internal Medicine at the
University of Toronto, Canada, in 2008. She is an active member of the
Endocrine Society and the American Association of Clinical
Endocrinologists. Her core area of research has been diabetes, obesity and
fatty liver disease. Along with this, she have numerous publications in
many international journals. Also, she has been speaker at many
international forums.
